INTRODUCTION TO LASERS IN DENTISTRY: (HANDS-ON, 14 HOURS CPD, OBJECTIVES A & C)

INTRODUCTION TO LASERS IN DENTISTRY: (HANDS-ON, 14 HOURS CPD, OBJECTIVES A & C)

Two Day Introduction To Lasers In Dentistry: Learn everything you need to know to safely start using both an erbium and diode laser! Dr Mark Cronshaw

Learn all about laser assisted dentistry on our introductory hands on course. This long established and popular course is a two day detailed didactic and hands on course which covers everything you need to know to safely and effectively use either a diode or a YSGG laser. On completion of this intensive training you will be eligible to take the examination to obtain certification as an Associate Fellow of the World Class Laser Institute.

Hard and soft tissue lasers offer many benefits to both patients and clinicians. The combination of a hard tissue laser (erbium) and the soft tissue diode laser provides a platform that solves many otherwise difficult to manage clinical situations. The dual wavelength approach is currently being applied in periodontology, endodontics and in oral surgery. The clinical gain is ease of use, minimal intervention which greatly enhances the patient experience plus the results are first rate. On completion of the programme delegates have access to a comprehensive library of videos, presentations and key “how to..” documents. In addition, participants can have the assurance of continued support from a World class laser clinician and trainer.

Dr Mark Cronshaw is a highly experienced International laser instructor with his own busy private practice in the UK. As an academic contract professor he is involved in teaching the master of science programme at the University of Genoa as well as being involved in lecturing and instructing on clinical laser use Worldwide. Dr Cronshaw has written many articles on the clinical applications of lasers in dentistry and he is actively involved in continued research. His clinical interests are in aesthetic dentistry, holistic dental care, minimally invasive dentistry as well as the application of laser therapy as an adjunct to tissue regeneration in periodontics and surgery.
