
Endodontic Retreatment: A Hands-On Masterclass
Join Dr. Satnam Virdee on this hands-on course which will focus on overcoming the decision making and practical challenges associated specifically with endodontic retreatment cases.
Course Overview
Delegates will have the opportunity to take part in small group case-based discussions, re-access endodontically treated 3D printed teeth and subsequently retrieve gutta-percha via a combination of ultrasonics and hand and mechanical instrumentation techniques.
Course Speaker
Satnam Singh Virdee is a Speciality Registrar in Restorative Dentistry at the Birmingham Dental Hospital. He is enrolled on an integrated clinical academic training programme with a national training number where he is currently out of programme completing a PhD in Regenerative Endodontics, after which he will proceed onto speciality clinical training in Restorative Dentistry. To date, Satnam has completed his Membership in Endodontics (MEndo) examination with the Royal College of Surgeons of England, widely publishes in high-impact peer-reviewed journals, regularly presents his research at national and international conferences, is the recipient of 14 clinical-academic awards and serves as the Honorary Assistant Secretary to the British Endodontic Society. In addition to this, he is also referred to complex endodontic and tooth wear cases by his colleagues as a part-time practitioner at several specialist practices across the West Midlands.
