The Applyfix 4 is a manual dispensing gun for dosing and applying modern impression materials. The plastic products can be easily disinfected to satisfy the most stringent hygeine requirements and have a compact ergonomic design, making them easy and efficient to use.
Different mixing aids, ranging from simple mixing tips to a dynamic mixer for electrical dispensing and mixing units, are required depending on the product and its application. Different techniques are also used for applying the material depending on the indication. All the mixing, dispensing and application aids included in the Kettenbach range are easy to use and save material.
Used with the Green mixing tips, Futar D is a quick setting, syringeable, elastomer, addition-curing bite registration material on a vinyl polysiloxane base with high final hardness Shore-D 43) for recording the occlusal relationship.
It can be successfully used for coating bite registration forks and as a locating material, such as for Gothic arch tracings.
The material is also ideal for fabricating model segments for fitting down porcelain and composite inlays and onlays etc.to grind in the occlusion on the model.
It can be easily trimmed with a rotary instrument and is impressive because of its extremely high final hardness and easy handling.
The comfortable working time is 30 seconds with an intraoral setting time of 90 seconds for a total setting time of 2 minutes.
Less time required, reducing the risk of distortion during intraoral setting, which makes it more comfortable for the patient.
It Doesn’t flow into in the interdental spaces and is easy to remove from the mouth.
