Dr Elaine Halley – Digital Smile Design in Practice

How to use the simple image capture devices that we have at our fingertips to capture and analyse smiles – and design improvements according to the facial structure of the patient. Once we have these designs, they are powerful communication tools to discuss the possibilities of treatment with our patients, from simple alignment and bonding to the more complex workflows – all guided by facially driven design

Dr Fazeela Khan-Osborne – The Single Tooth Implant,  is it a done deal?

The Single Tooth Implant, is it a done deal?. What the general dental practitioner needs to know when assessing the failing single tooth.

Dr Brid Hendron – On your marks get set go!

Motivating others is a key skill for effective leadership and management of dental teams. This seminar affords an opportunity to enhance our understanding of motivation and to appreciate how we can harness it in a  day to day dental practice environment.

Dr Graham Stokes – The edentulous space and implants – Are fixed implant restorations the only option?

In this presentation we will explore the alternative treatment options facing the partially edentulous and fully edentulous patient with an emphasis on implant retained and supported dentures.

Dr Joe McEnhill – Oral Surgery Update for the GDP

Joe intends to give an update on issues related to oral surgery for the GDP.  He will touch on how digital dentistry has aided on his diagnosis and treatment planning of oral surgery issues.

Sinead Kelly – GDPR; Four Months On… What it means for dental practices.

This presentation will focus on the enforcement of GDPR, now the Data Protection Act 2018. In particular, Sinéad will focus on dental practice management and what an appropriate data governance framework should include.

Andrea Ball – The Cycle of Excellence, Demystifying Dental Auditing.

During this lecture Andrea will offer insight into what exactly auditing is and help you to understand where auditing fits within the current regulatory framework and its place in general dental practice. As well as offering guidance on how you can identify audit areas within your practice and bring these full cycle from design right through to review.

Mr Andy McDougall – Discover how to unlock the profits  hidden away in your practice.

Andy will lead you on a journey of transformational change that will have you looking at your practice in a radically new way. He will demonstrate how understanding the behaviour of costs leads to more profitable ways of influencing them. Andy will share the principles of how he doubles his clients’ profits every three years.

Lorraine Browne – Champion the metrics in your practice.

Key performance indicators (KPIs), both financial and non-financial, are a type of performance measurement used to monitor the success of targets within your business, which in turn calculates the performance and success of the business. Most of us know this, right? Wrong! Sadly, KPIs are not well understood. During this lecture we will help practices understand what makes a performance indicator “key”? What type of information should be provided for each indicator? And how they can be used to benchmark your practice against industry standards.

Gail Taylor – Take the weight of your shoulders and watch your profit grow.

Do patients seem to be falling through the cracks in your practice? Are you diagnosing but not treating or completing what you diagnosed? Do you think that you might have a practice within your practice? Is there dentistry sitting in the charts waiting to be done? yet your patients are not signing up for the treatment? You’re not alone if you answer “yes” to any of these questions. It may be time to discover the benefits of a treatment coordinator and watch your work load and profit increase

Anne Barker – What does the future hold for you?

What has happened to dentistry in the last 20 years? Do we judge our dental business by patient care or does it actually come down to profits? Or are you part of a perfect practice which encompasses both? Anne has voyaged dentistry over the past 20 years and witnessed the changes which have taken place, i.e., corporatisation. Is this on its way to Ireland? An understanding of the changes that are taking place today may give you all the tools you need to make an informed decision about your future whether you are an associate or principle. Anne is going to walk you through what it means to buy a dental practice and also to retire, to help you understand whether this is an option for you.

Dr Annamaree Welsh – Digital Scanning for the Dental Team.

Enhance your patient journey, save time and reduce costs by introducing digital scanning within your team.
