Course Speaker
Diane Rochford, RDH, BSc (Hons), Dental Hygienist.
Diane qualified as a dental hygienist at Guy’s Hospital, London, in March 1996. Working in private practice in London and Manchester, she consistently works to a full scope of practice in all areas of dental hygiene, including tooth whitening. Since 2010, Diane has been teaching tooth whitening courses specifically for dental hygienists and therapists, along with dental photography and other topics of interest to members of the dental team. Diane has written for numerous dental publications and also the national press, and she is a past President of the British Society of Dental Hygiene and Therapy (BSDHT).

Learning Content
The evening event hosted by Optident will allow dental professionals to familiarise themselves with the UC500L ultrasonic and air polishing unit. The evidence for use will be discussed, and how air polishing fits in with the relevant clinical guidance for a variety of treatments provided by dental hygienists and dental therapists. Diane will also share strategies for implementation into clinical practice to ensure a productive and profitable outcome.
